UNDERGROUND MINING

Captive Underground Mining Lease with Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL): Our strategic partnership with Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL) spans multiple sites – West Mochia, Portal, Central Mochia, and all three declines in Mochia Mines at Zawar Udaipur. This collaboration underscores our expertise in underground mining and our dedication to delivering exceptional results.
Ore Crushing and Transportation at Hindustan Zinc Limited, Zawar Mines Udaipur: Our role in ore crushing and transportation at Hindustan Zinc Limited’s Zawar Mines in Udaipur showcases our proficiency in handling critical aspects of mining operations.
MDO Model Kayad Mines, Ajmer: We’ve successfully managed the development and production of ore at the Kayad Mines in Ajmer, a project valued at 400 Cr.
Cluster-A Acquisition in Zawar Mines: In a landmark achievement in 2023, we successfully acquired the Mochia and Balaria Mines, collectively forming Cluster-A within the Zawar Mine complex. This monumental acquisition, valued at 2148 Cr, signifies our unwavering commitment to growth and excellence. As part of this strategic expansion, we have recently taken over the Balaria Mines, with the goal of streamlining mine development and bolstering production. This move is set to strengthen our presence in the mining sector and position us for sustained success.
Khetri Copper Mine: March 4, 2023, SK Khetan Group has been entrusted with a 60-month conventional mining project at the Khetri Copper Mine in Rajasthan. The scope includes mine development, stripping, long hole drilling (57mm), drop raising, equipping, track laying, and concreting, all aimed at enhancing efficiency and boosting production capacity.
Baroi Mine Development & Ore Production: Starting on October 1, 2024, this 4.5-year project, valued at 683.65 Cr, focuses on ore production and mine development. For the first time, SK Khetan Group has introduced its own 3 M2D robust boomers, enhancing productivity and operational efficiency. This project highlights our commitment to innovation and growth in the mining sector.

KEY PROJECTS

OPENCAST MINING

- Handling and Internal Transportation of Limestone: Our expertise extends to open-cast mining, where we excel in the handling and internal transportation of limestone. We are entrusted with the operations of Asia’s largest captive limestone mine block for UltraTech Cement in Pindwara, Sirohi, ensuring efficient extraction and management of this valuable resource.

- Coal Mining at Western Coal Field, Nagpur Area: We actively contribute to coal mining operations at the Western Coal Field in the Nagpur area, specifically in the Kalarpimpri and Bhanegaon coal mines. With a daily production capacity of about 70,000 M3, we play a pivotal role in the coal mining sector.
- Contract for Mine Development & Evacuation of Coal: We’ve successfully secured contracts for mine development and coal evacuation at Kolar Pimpri OCM and Bhanegaon OCM, showcasing our capability to manage and execute complex mining projects.
- UltraTech Cement Pindwara Amli Mines Project: In 2023, we embarked on a new venture at UltraTech Nathdwara Cement Ltd., the Amli Mines, focused on reject handling, further expanding our footprint in the mining industry.
- Sesa Goa Opencast Mining: The SK Khetan Group is expanding its footprint with a new MDO model project at Sesa Goa Mines, October 1, 2024. Valued at ₹150 cr, the project will span five years and aims to optimize mining operations and enhance ore production efficiency. This initiative highlights the SK Khetan Group’s commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable mining solutions while expanding its presence in the industry.

SK Khetan Group continues to expand its footprint with several new projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency at key mining locations. The latest projects include:

Consolidation of OnM, Crushing, and Transportation at Zawar Group of Mines: This project focuses on streamlining operations, optimizing crushing processes, and ensuring seamless transportation to improve overall productivity at the Zawar Mines.

Burai Crushing: SK Khetan Group is undertaking crushing operations at Burai, aimed at enhancing material processing capabilities and boosting efficiency in ore handling.

Portal Crushing: This initiative involves setting up advanced crushing mechanisms at the Portal site, ensuring high throughput and effective ore processing.

- - Tailing Transportation: This project focuses on improving the transportation systems at key mining sites, ensuring reliable and efficient material movement across operations.

Geological Services

S.K.Khetan Group after establishing itself as a service provider for mega mining projects of the tune of 1.5 million tonnes per annum has established its exploration wing to offer services relating to mineral investigation & ground check for large scale infrastructure building. Presently Group has engaged professionals who have 45+ years experience in management & execution of geological services for premier mega mining projects. During their professional tenure they have managed, processed & executed over 1 lac m of exploratory drilling in a year under different geological environments. Also, they have the capability to offer services for systematic collection & processing of data up to the final block modeling stage using latest software based techniques.
